A women’s leadership forum will be held on March 3 at Fairmont State University.
The forum will take place in the Falcon Center on Campus.
Women will have the opportunity to join leaders in the community for an afternoon of discussion and empowerment in women’s history.
The keynote speaker will be FSU President Dr. Mirta Martin, along with guest speakers Valerie Gittings, Diane Lewis and Tracy Lewis-Evans.
“March is women’s history month. It’s about women empowerment and more women wanting to get involved in leadership in the community, and just wanting to get women really moving in Fairmont, which I think we do a great job of that already, but to just keep that momentum going,” said Julie Chadwell, Women’s Leadership Forum.
This event will be free and open to the public.
