CSC Home & Hardware will hold its fourth annual Construction Expo on Thursday, March 15 at Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa.
This event will be for contractors, architects, engineers and even homeowners looking for help with DIY projects.
The public will be invited to attend from 3-7 p.m. when more than vendors will be set up to show off materials and products to help with any project.
“Every time you’re looking for a product you’re going to a whole seller, somebody like myself, and you can only get a small snipped of information, so most homeowners have to rely on the Internet to get their information from,” said Matt Scott, vice president of CSC Home & Hardware. “We can only cover so much with an interaction with a customer, so this is a chance for a homeowner to ask all the questions they could possibly have detailed information about products they’re interested in.”
Materials will be displayed for decking, roofing, siding, railing, drywall and more.
The free event will also feature classes and demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
Professional training courses, which are closed to the public, will be held in the morning.
Architects and engineers will be able to earn Architect Institute of America required Health and Safety Welfare Credits as well as OSHA Safety Training for contractors and code enforcement.
“Most of the architects and engineers are required to travel great distances to get this,” Scott said. “There’s no other opportunity in North Central West Virginia to make this happen.”
