Local Buffalo Wild Wings participates in national fundraiser in supporting local communities

Buffalo Wild Wings has been giving back to communities around the nation.

The Buffalo Wild Wings at University Town Centere took advantage of this opportunity and decided to localize this event by giving back to the Boys and Girls Club in Morgantown.

Ten percent of all earnings for the day will be donated as a way of giving back to the kids within the community.

Buffalo Wild Wings Manager Marcus Wright said the local fire department and police force were also in attendance at this event in order to show their support for the kids within the community.

“Partners have been gracious enough to come up with an interactive photo booth to where the kids can go in and it kind of works like Snapchat”, said Wright. “They can take pictures, they get free photo copies, whether it’s with the police department or the fire department, or the families and they will also get them texted to their phone.”

The event included arcade games, a selfie station and prizes for the kids.

The event happens nationwide, once a year, along with several other fundraising events throughout the year. For more information on the next fundraiser, visit the local Buffalo Wild Wings website.
