Morgantown City Council discusses plan involving River Road Public Service District

Morgantown City Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday evening.

The main topic of discussion was an ordinance allowing the Morgantown Utility Board to acquire the River Road Public Service District.

The utility board would freeze the rates of River Road customers for 27 years and rates would then match the rates of other MUB customers.

After discussion, city council passed this ordinance on its second reading.
