PC Renewal and Mon County collaborate for electronic recycling event

Monongalia

Saturday morning, the Monongalia County Commission partnered with PC Renewal for their first electronic recycling event.

This was held in conjunction with the regular recycling program offered at the Wal Mart off of Hornbeck Road in Morgantown.

You can bring any item that can be plugged in, in your home or office as long as it does not have freon or mercury in it. No CRT or fluorescent items are permitted.

There is no limit on items you are allowed to bring.

“We are doing a collection today to help the citizens of Mon County to keep electronics out of the landfill,” said Susan Crosco, Office Administrator at PC Renewal.

There is no fee for this service and will be offered every second Saturday of the month at the Wal Mart off of Hornbeck Road.
