A fountain has been restored and returned to the Monongalia County Courthouse square.
It was located in Westover for a number of years.
Friday morning, an engineering team connected the piece to running water.
Sculptor Jamie Lester handled the restoration efforts.
“We’ve worked really hard on this for almost a year, so we’ve kind of had a soft unveiling here for the past few months since December, but the water has been running so I’m really excited for people to see this rhododendron blossom fountain that we’ve created,” said Lester.
A special dedication of the fountain will be made on Wednesday, May 2 at 11 a.m. in the Courthouse Square.
