Wingapalooza fundraising event likely to hit $25,000 goal

Christmas may be months away but Buffalo Wild Wings at University Town Center in Morgantown is starting preparations early this year.

This Buffalo Wild Wings has partnered with different organizations such as the Granville Police and Fire Department to put on the three day Wingapalooza fundraising event.

This three-day fundraiser has been full of different family-fun activities each day with all proceeds going to help fund the Granville Police Department’s Shop with a Cop Christmas program.

Buffalo Wild Wings general manager, Marcus Wright, said this Sunday was the last day for this event and included a friendly competition of Madden.

“I partnered with the game stop over here and they brought up seven consoles systems and seven Madden games and we are having a double elimination Madden tournament, and we’ve got five games going on right now to set the winners and losers bracket up,” said Wright.

Wright also said the overall goal for this fundraiser was to hit $25,000 in funds, and after today’s festivities Wright said he thinks they will definitely meet that goal.
