Tourism is something Morgantown strives on and on Wednesday night the members who make tourism across West Virginia possible were honored at the annual Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau award ceremony.

This two-hour ceremony was held at the West Virginia University Art Museum, which included a dinner along with a presentation of awards.

The president and CEO of the CVB, Susan Riddle, said the awards were handed out to individuals who have made a positive difference in the tourism industry across the state.

“Tourists don’t see boundaries, tourists see destinations and within those destinations, where they’re a visitor or someone who’s relocating to the area people want to experience what we have to offer, and we’re really fortunate we have such a great destination to call home,” said Riddle.
