WVU graduate students discuss their progress

Monongalia

WVU graduate students got the opportunity Tuesday evening to meet with officials about their studies.

The Champions for Change event at the Erickson Alumni Center allowed students to discuss what is working over the course of their studies and what could be improved.
It was designed to make sure the students are fully prepared for their future careers.

“The world is changing and jobs are changing and making sure that students have an opportunity to explore, as they pursue advanced studies, the variety of skills and career pathways that could provide meaningful work is really important,” said Suzanne Ortega, President of the Council for Graduate Schools.

Several fields across the university were represented, from physics to gender studies.
