As those who were elected during the 2018 election begin to get down to work, some politicians are already looking ahead to the 2020 election.  Among the seats that will be open is the West Virginia Governor.

On Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, Gov. Jim Justice (R-WV) announced he will be running to keep his seat in the 2020 election.  The announcement was made during a special ceremony at the White Sulphur Springs Civic Center.

Gov. Justice ran for Governor on a Democratic ticket in 2016.  He then changed over to the Republican party in 2017.
