Randolph County Commission President Mike Taylor has submitted his candidacy for re-election to another term.
Commissioner Taylor has served the county for the last 12 years and is eager to continue supporting and tackling the challenges of the county in any way he can. Since his first term, business has grown by nearly 30 percent, ranking Randolph County as 16th in the state for new business growth.
“Some of those challenges have to do, obviously, with economic development which I feel we have a very good track record with, and there’s two aspects of that. Number one is trying to attract new businesses to the county, and number two maintaining the businesses that we have there and helping them grow,” said Commissioner Taylor.
Commissioner Taylor is hoping to continue his service and see current and future projects in Randolph County to fruition. He has a large vision for Randolph County and the experience to support change
