The 77th Buckwheat Festival hosts annual parade

People from around the state crowded the streets of Preston County for the annual Buckwheat Festival parade hosted on the streets of downtown Kingwood.

The parade was more than an hour long and included several different youth organizations, decorated floats, high school bands and much more.

This parade is part of the Buckwheat Festival tradition and acts as an additional way of bringing people to the area.

The last day to visit this year’s Buckwheat Festival will be this Sunday, September 30.
