Elkins-Randolph County hosts annual dinner and awards night

On Monday night, the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce held its annual dinner and awards to honor members of the community.

Nine different awards were handed out to community members and business leaders who are making a difference around Randolph County.

Lisa Wood, the executive director of the Elkins-Randolph Chamber, said the night included entertainment provided by Old Brick Playhouse who were there to entertain and perform along with a dinner followed by the award ceremony.

“It’s really important to highlight the good deeds, the good works that people do, it’s important to highlight businesses that are having an impact in the community, not only being successful businesses and business leaders but also making a difference in the lives of the people in Elkins and Randolph County,” said Wood.

Other members of the community will continued to be honored by the chamber of commerce for their outstanding efforts in the coming years.
