A free heart health panel was held at The Davis Medial Center Tuesday night.
February is American Heart Month and the event is put on annually to education the community on heart health.

Dieticians and doctors discussed guidelines and tips for improving heart health, and guests even got the chance to try a lettuce, mango health smoothie.
“First of all eat a heart health diet, just eat a healthy diet overall. Move more, exercise, get some type of activity in at least five days a week. And take care of yourself,” said Mindy Parsons, a clinical charge nurse with the cardic rehab program.
