Local artists from Randolph County and the surrounding area are in Elkins sharing their work and offering last-minute Christmas gifts at the Holiday Artist Market.

The Randolph County Community Arts Center is hosting a two-day long shopping event and supporting the work of several local artists.  Artists said the market is a great way to connect with the community and share something unique for the holidays.

“I like the idea that Christmas is about, the holidays, Hanukkah, all of it is about people and connections and every handmaid item has been made lovingly with people’s hands and their own ideas.  So, it’s just a little more personal,” said Local Artist Kate Goodrich-Arling.

The gallery is filled with pottery, jewelry, glass, and much more.

Tables will be set up at the Arts Center from 10 to 6 at Two Park Street in Elkins.
