Randolph/Tucker Children’s Advocacy Center prepares for largest fudnraiser

The Randolph/Tucker Children’s Advocacy Center will host its seventh annual Champion for Children Event on Friday, April 20 at Orchard Hall in Elkins.

The fundraising dinner has been the largest event for the center and celebrates the achievements and collaborative efforts of professionals, volunteers and organizations in the community.

Executive Director Margot Evick said the event highlights the continued work the community does to serve children and families.

“It’s really important that we have that network of professionals for children to have that team approach so that kids don’t fall through the cracks; families don’t fall through the cracks that we’re there through support of that healing and through finding justice,” said Evick.

Tickets for the event are still on sale and organizations are still able to sponsor the event.
