Works stops on Corridor H

Randolph

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection has issued a cease-and-desist order following several violations on the Corridor H project.

The order, dated September 28, cited violations on the part of Kokosing Construction Company dated back to December 2017 through September 2018.  Violations include failure to operate and maintain erosion control devices, failure to provide inlet protection, lack of maintenance and operate sediment basins, and much more.

There is no word when construction will continue on the 7.5-mile segment of Corridor H.

The state Division of Highways and the Corridor H Highway Authority did not respond to requests for comment.
