World renowned pianist performs to benefit Randolph County Humane Society

World renowned pianist, Jack Gibbons, performed at the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church on Sunday to benefit the Randolph County Humane Society.

Those in attendance were able to hear music from Chopin, Mozart, and Beethoven.

The Humane Society said it is at full capacity, with more cats and dogs than volunteers could imagine. The shelter also said it needs folks who want to adopt, volunteer, and donate.

“We always need donations, food, both dog and cat food wet and dry, kitty litter, blankets, towels, toys. We need people who can come play with the kitties and socialize them and people who want to walk the dogs,” said Tina Vial, President of the Board of Directors for the Randolph County Humane Society.

Randolph County Humane Society said their next event will be the annual Spay-ghetti (Spaghetti) Dinner at the Phil Gainer Community Center on February 24.
