Recycling Coalition of WV announces 2018 Recycling Champions

As we prepare for Earth Day on April 22nd, one Marion County organization prepared in a hands-on way.

The Boys & Girls Club of Marion County will be announced as one of four 2018 Recycling Champions this year. The coordinator says it’s important that kids continue the good habits of caring.

“We are very honored to be selected to receive this award as one of the 2018 recycling champions,  because our kids have worked so hard to maintain not only a safe and clean environment for humans, but an animal friendly eco-system as well,” said siting coordinator, Kathryn Morrison

Among the Boys & Girls Club, Pleasant Hills Elementary, Martin Distributing Company and John C. Webster also will be recognized this Sunday at 1 pm during the annual Vera Bradley Bingo Fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus in Fairmont.
