Rescue teams find three remaining people trapped in Raleigh County mine

Three people missing in an inactive Raleigh County coal mine since late Saturday were found alive on Wednesday night, according to West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety & Training.

The agency says efforts are being made to bring the 3 individuals to the surface, where they will be transported for medical treatment.

The three missing people were identified as Kayla Williams, Erica Treadway and Cody Beverly. The fourth peron trapped, Eddie Williams, came out of the mine safely on Monday night.
