BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — Officials are looking for the person or people responsible for killing one dog and severely injuring another.
According to the Mercer County Humane Society, one of the dogs died after it was dragged behind a car, stabbed and partially skinned. The second dog, Lexi, was severely injured but survived what officials are calling a ‘brutal attack’. Officials said Lexi is currently struggling to regain her mental well-being and sense of safety.
