Anna Jarvis Elementary welcomes students with new art room

Students across the Taylor County area have headed back to class to kick off another school year.

Anna Jarvis Elementary presented a host of positive changes to their school, including the addition of new art room and redesigned library program to make learning and comprehension readily available to all children.

“Our kids are so excited because they just got to have a tour of the new art room. There was a lot of work done this summer and it’s all brand new and totally exciting with the new colors and a lot of the cool art went up on the wall. We have a new math series that our county has adopted this year.” stated Principal Heather Gunderson.

As a part of the redesigning, the Anna Jarvis library has each book coded to represent different categories and reading levels for students to easily pick out books and educational literature.
