Taylor County Emergency Squad celebrated facility upgrades with an open house Saturday morning.
The squad recently made upgrades to their housing units and acquired a new ambulance.
Community members toured the facilities, hopped inside the ambulance, and learned about the work that the squad does.
Meeting with emergency personnel in a non-emergency situation builds relationships within the community.
“The open house has went really well. We haven’t had quite the turn out we want, but the people we’ve had here we’ve been able to interact with really well. Each member that is here today has been able to talk with them,” said Lieutenant Michelle Mayle.
If you missed the open house you can stop by to pick up information at any time.
