Visitors celebrate Independence day at Tygart Lake

As people prepare for 4th of July fireworks all around West Virginia, Tygart Lake was filled with both locals and out of town visitors celebrating Independence Day in their own way.

“So my wife just became a citizen a few months ago and she is from Peru. So we’re celebrating this country, her citizenship and all kinds of stuff in the U.S.” said park visitor Daryl Foland.

State park officials welcome all guests to celebrate until the fireworks start at 10pm around downtown Grafton.
