Town of White Hall adopts official town flag

News

White Hall Town council held a regular scheduled meeting Tuesday evening.

The town will soon have it’s very own flag. Council has decided to officially adopt a White Hall Town flag, which will resemble the town logo already in use.

Council also adopted a resolution to authorize the finalization of the bidding process for the Public Safety Building Project. The ongoing project focuses on renovation of existing safety buildings, a project that will benefit the whole town.

“Bids came in at about 300,000 dollars more than what we anticipated so were making some cuts and some changes,” said Guy Ward, Mayor of White Hall.

The lowest bid came from Huffman Corporation in Bridgeport, WV. They will complete construction and renovation for phase one of the project which incudes the Police Department, Town Hall, and the Public Safety Building.
