The City of Buckhannon officially named a new fire chief.
Interim Chief J.B. Kimble was given the permanent position Thursday night.
Kimble has been serving in the interim role since the city’s former chief announced his departure earlier this year.
Monday will be Kimble’s first official day on the job.
