While Upshur County School students have already started class, Buckhannon is preparing to welcome students back to West Virginia Wesleyan College this weekend.
City officials will be making Meade Street one way while students are moving in on Saturday morning.
Student volunteers will also be working to ensure that people stay safe during the move-in process.
“And that particular area has been quite congested when the traffic flow has been unadjusted in years past,” said Buckhannon Police Chief Matt Gregory.
Classes at West Virginia Wesleyan College get underway for the new year next week.
