West Virginia Wesleyan College continues to welcome back students

West Virginia Wesleyan College is welcoming its new students this weekend.

The college has been doing multiple events over the weekend, culminating today in a large outdoor gathering for students.

Students had the opportunity to zip line on a course that gave them a nice areal view of campus, and play on a number of different inflatable activities.

This event was open to all students, but was a good way for freshmen and other new students to meet and mingle with their peers.

“This is a really great event. It was supposed to go on in the spring last year and it got rained out. We have beautiful weather here today. It is for everybody but it’s a great way to kick off our first weekend and have freshman connect and see some of the fun stuff that happens next weekend,” said Lucas Trovato, Bobcat Entertainment Graduate Assistant.

Trovato and Bobcat Entertainment have a number of other events for students at Wesleyan planned throughout the semester, including a movie night.
