Ambulance, Coal Truck Collide in Wayne County

An ambulance and a coal truck collided on US-52 in Wayne County Friday morning.

According to dispatchers, the crash happened just before 5 a.m. on US-52 in the Fort Gay area of Wayne County.

Dispatchers say that a coal truck and a Jan-Care ambulance collided.

No injuries are reported in the crash, but one lane of US-52 is shut down as a result of the crash.

The roadway is expected to be reopened shortly.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police, Prichard Volunteer Fire Department, and the Fort Gay Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
