Flooding causing evacuations in Pocahontas County

Crews are evacuating people in Marlinton due to flooding in Pocahontas County.

People are being evacuated in the lower and eastern part of Marlinton near Knapps Creek.

High water caused officials to close Route 39 in Huntersville and Route 250 in Thornwood. 

A shelter has been set up at Marlinton Middle School.
