Something especially sweet will be coming to downtown Lewisburg.

The 12th Annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival will be happening April 14. This is a fundraiser put on by the United Way of Greenbrier Valley every year.

There will be 30,000 different chocolate tastings from many different local businesses, restaurants and chocolate companies. The festival will not only a place where you can taste chocolate, but enjoy some professional chef demonstrations, tons of activities for the kids and some live entertainment.

“A new addition to the festival this year, we will have Krista Hughes and Jay Milum of the Krista Hughes Band as part of our entertainment. Krista Hughes is from Southern West Virginia and she was a contestant on the Voice, so we’re really excited to have her and Jay as part of our live music and entertainment this year at the festival.”

The festival will be free, but if you’re planning on tasting chocolate you have to purchase your tasting tickets online at http://www.lewisburgchocolatefestival.com or at the visitor center in Lewisburg prior to the event. All tasting tickets are $1 a piece.
