Wreaths Across America reminds of deadline to make a donation

News

Organizers of Wreaths Across America are reminding individuals that Monday is the deadline to donate.

These wreaths will be used at the Grafton National Cemetery on December 15th during a special ceremony to honor veterans.

5 thousand wreathes are needed to cover the whole cemetery, and currently only 2,000 have been purchased through donations.

$15.00 purchases one wreath.

“It means a lot for us to get this cemetery covered. There’s a lot of heroes that are buried up there. Army, navy, air force, marines, coast guard. A lot of brothers and sisters are buried up there and it would mean a lot for us to get it covered today, or this weekend,” said Cliff Van Gilder, Coordinater.

To make a donation, you can visit wreathsacrossamerica.org and donate to the local fundraising group WVNCGR, which stands for the West Virginia National Cemetery of Grafton.
