FSU women swimmers took home multiple honors

The Fairmont State women’s swim team took home some awards, Thursday.  Marlena Dudek was named Women’s Swimmer of the Year in the Mountain East Conference.  Dudek was named an All-American and qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in 2017.  

Courtney Deem, of Morgantown, WV, was named the Freshman of the Year in the MEC.  Deem set six school records this season.

Head coach, Pat Snively, won the Coach of the Year in the conference after his team won the MEC championship.
