Two high school football records have a chance to be broken, Friday.
Bridgeport running back Jake Bowen needs 74 yards to set the all-time school rushing record. That record was set in 1973 by Steve Stout, who finished his career with 3,724 rush yards. Bridgeport takes on Lincoln in their final regular season game.
In addition, Robert C. Byrd running back, Ghovan Davidson, also has the chance to break the Flying Eagles rush record, Friday. Davidson needs 131 yards to break Juwan Jones-Wright’s record of 3,867 yards. The 7-2 Eagles finish their regular season at home Friday night, hosting Philip Barbour.
