Jalen Bridges picks Scotland Campus prep school

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Fairmont Senior’s All-State forward Jalen Bridges announced Sunday where he’ll be playing basketball next season. 

Bridges to to Twitter to announce that he will be heading to Scotland Campus prep school in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. 

Scotland Campus is home to one of the top prep basketball programs and coaches in the nation. Knights head coach Chris Chaney has coached 18 NBA Draft picks and over 140 Division 1 players.

Bridges won this year’s Bill Evans Award as the top player in the state, averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.9 steals per game prior to the state tournament where he led the Polar Bears to a fifth-striaght Class AA championship game apperance.

Bridges currently holds over twenty D-1 offers, including WVU, TCU and Xavier. This year’s national champion Virginia has also expressed interest, as have other top programs.  

He also made sure to note on social media that his college recruitment is still very much open as he continues to field offers and interest from schools. 

By going to prep school, Bridges officially reclassifies from the 2019 to the 2020 recruiting class. He will attend Scotland Campus for one season before choosing what lucky college will gain his talents and services.
