Lane Flint, East Fairmont, and Zach Frazier steal the show in Big 10 Wrestling Tournament

Lane Flint, East Fairmont win Big 10 Wrestling Tournament title

East Fairmont’s Lane Flint and Fairmont Senior’s Zach Frazier both earned easy wins by way of pinfall in the first round of Big 10 Wrestling Tournament Saturday.  

For both, their success on the mats continued throughout the day, as each went undefeated in their weight class during the championship round. 

Flint (132 lb) wasn’t the only Bee that had a good day. A total of four East Fairmont wrestlers won the Big 10 title in their division, including three by way of pinfall. 

Geno Casuccio (106), Blake Boyers (113), and Nate Kotsko (182) all took first. 

Flint was also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler, while Bees coach Adam Boyers was named Big 10 Coach of the Year. 

Buckhannon-Upshur, Fairmont Senior and Bridgeport each had two first-place wrestlers Saturday.
