The Trinity boys’ basketball team fended off Pendleton County in one of the two Class A, Region 2 championship games Thursday night.
It marks the second year in a row the Warriors will be headed to the state tournament.
Notre Dame won on the road, while Webster County nearly lost its first game of the season. But both the Irish and the Highlanders will be joining the Warriors in Charleston.
