The West Virginia Black Bears have released their promotional schedule for the 2019 season.
Monongalia County Ballpark will be the site of a combination of nine Firework Nights, two bobblehead giveaways and many other promotions.
Some of the most popular fan attractions that are returning for another season are Super Hero Night (June 15), Star Wars Night (June 29), the Moonshiners Series (July 23 – 25) and Bark in the Park (August 1).
Opening Day of the 2019 season is Friday, June 14 against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, which will also be a Friday Night Fireworks night. There will be fireworks six days later commemorating West Virginia Day, and then a few weeks after that on Sunday, July 7 in honor of Independence Day.
This season will also include four Jersey Auction Nights.
The month of June features 10 promotions or giveaways, while both July and August have twelve.
