BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The West Virginia Patriots 12U baseball team was defeated in the Showdown in the Mountains 12U title game Sunday at the Bridgeport Rec Complex.
The Patriots took a 2-1 lead in the game’s early going, but a big blast by the Penn Trafford cleanup hitter took the wind out of West Virginia’s sales.
14-5 was the final.
