Arts and Crafts show fills the National Guard Armory in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. - For the last two days, the WV National Guard Armory has been full of arts and crafts.

The two day art show served as a make up day for the 4th annual connector arts and crafts show that was rained out.

Almost 30 local craft and vendors were set up, as well as local musicians and groups.

The arts and craft event had many categories of items from handmade goods to fornite t-shirts to fishing gear.

The event brought families and friends out while show casing the local work in the area.

"I think Fairmont starting to become the family venue, whether your from Morgantown, of Clarksburg, or Bridgeport we got just a friendly atmosphere in Fairmont, Fairmont use to be known as the friendly city," said John Provins with the Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission.

The commission will have another event a close to Christmas.
