With the holidays right around the corner residents in Morgantown gathered downtown for the annual Pop-Up holiday market.
This market was held at the Marketplace on Spruce Street in downtown Morgantown.
This was a four-hour market that included over 40 different booths filled with home-made products from both West Virginia and out of state.
The founder of the Pop-Up Holiday Market, Megan Ursic, said this event is put on as a way for the community to come out and support local businesses.
“We have about 45 makers here today, the thing that I really wanted to do was help improve the local economy, keep our community unique, have something fun for them to do and obviously to support small businesses,” said Ursic.
The next pop-up market is planned to be held at the same location right before Mother’s Day in the Spring.
