Local actor, Greg Mason, will be starring in an upcoming movie titled “Man’s Best Friend” about war veterans and their service dogs. He was born in Fairmont and lives in Clarksburg.
Mason, who got his start playing a zombie in the 1990 remake of “Night of the Living Dead”, was also in the 2018 film “Wild Faith”, which won Best Faith Based Picture at the Burbank International Film Festival.
“We got to go up on stage. It was pretty exciting,” said Mason.
He says his favorite part of acting is being able to take on different personas.
“I like it because you can be different characters as far as that goes. Like you can play good guys, bad guys, but you have to be really natural in the acting part of it to make it look real. And I’ve done a lot of movies. I’ve probably done 30 or more films with speaking roles in them,” said Mason.
Mason says his new film, “Man’s Best Friend” will hopefully be released this summer.
