Local Children sold their own products on Saturday at the Children’s Business Fair at the Meadowbrook Mall.
These fairs are held all over the country and are designed to teach children about entrepreneurship. The kids in attendance said they were excited about the chance to show people their ideas that they had been working on.
“I got this white template and at A.C. Moore I bought these beads and I built every single one of these things with different colored beads and I put them on the template and then I ironed them together to make one of these,” said participant Reid Haws while showing the magnets he had made.
Another participant Remedy Ash, who sold healthy trail mix, said that once she heard about the event, she had to sign up.
“I just really like contests and stuff like that. And it was a new kind of contest, so I thought I should go into the contest,” she said.
