West Virginia University holds 2018 Winter Commencement ceremony

It’s the middle of December which means it’s time for students to graduate.

West Virginia University held its annual Winter Commencement on Saturday for all students who have completed their degrees.

The commencements were held at the WVU Coliseum.

The seats were nearly full with proud friends and families supporting the students.

The celebration began with President Gordon Gee giving his annual speech along with other faculty speakers.

After the speeches and musical entertainment, the commencement came to and end after the students lined up to walk the stage and collect their diplomas.

The next commencement will be held in Spring 2019.
