STORMTRACKER ALERT: A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for Northwest Pocahontas and Southeastern Randolph counties from 10PM this evening to 10AM Wednesday morning. Wind Chills of 15 degrees below zero are possible. Wearing layers is recommended to prevent hypothermia and frostbite. 


SNOW FADES THROUGH MORNING: The morning commute this morning may potentially be slick after the mixed precipitation and snow last night. Today will have snow showers fade through the morning and linger in the mountains. Skies will then give way to some breaks of sun in the afternoon. High will be somewhere near 30 today. Winds will be out of the the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tonight will see partly cloudy skies with possibly a passing snow flurry or two. Temperatures will be very cold dropping down to around 8 degrees in the lowlands and even lower in the mountains. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5 miles per hour. Tomorrow will have partly cloudy skies and colder temperatures with a high around 22. Winds out of the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Wednesday evening will once more see very cold temperatures reaching lows beyond those of tonight. Thursday warms our area up relatively speaking before our next chance of widespread snow Friday. The weekend will have temperatures mostly in the 30s before another warmup on Monday.
