Lingering Flurries

Cold Continues into Next Week

STORMTRACKER ALERT: Winter Weather Advisory is out for Ritchie, Wirt, Calhoun, and Roane counties southwest to the I-64 corridor through Thursday morning. Minor snow accumulation, flash freezing, and hazardous travel are the big threats with this system.

As cold air comes through north-central West Virginia, that rain will changeover to snow overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning before skies slowly clear throughout the day with flurries lingering mainly in the mountains. Temperatures will stay chilly through the weekend with a decent amount of sunshine before a chance of flurries and snow showers return to kick off the next workweek.
