The 12th Annual River City Festival of the Arts will kick off in Rowlesburg. Visit www.rowlesburg.org info for the complete schedule of performances. 

Living History at the WV Wildlife Center. The center encourages you to join its Mountain Man and his primitive camp as he is dressed in 1780 -1835 period attire and shows what life was like.


From galleries to gifts, traditional craft to contemporary art, Tucker County’s ArtSpring Festival! will debut local artists, craftsmen, musicians, and performers.

The 2019 Southern U.S. World Championship Woodchopper title will be named at the annual Webster County Woodchopping Festival. The festival has grown out of a long timbering heritage from which has come some of the finest woodchoppers and lumbermen in the world.

The Spirit of Grafton Celebration will continue into Memorial Day. The festival takes place on Main Street downtown. Visitors can enjoy carnival rides, food and music. 

Friday-Saturday (5/24-5/25)

West Virginia’s annual Three Rivers Festival is making a return to Fairmont. The festival has provided entertainment for Marion County for thirty-six consecutive years and continues to bring excitement to the community. 

Saturday (5/25)

The Weston Memorial Day parade returns on Saturday morning, starting at 11 o’clock from Robert L. Bland Middle School. 

The WOT Memorial Monument will be unveiled at the conclusion of Memorial Services in conjunction with the Annual “VET-TOGETHER” activities following Weston’s Memorial Day Parade.

The Hillbilly Gypsies kick off the 2019 Mountain Music Concert Series on Memorial Day Weekend! The band is best known for their high-energy live performances and have become a crowd favorite at major festivals, fairs and concert venues all across the mid-Atlantic region and abroad. 

Grafton hosts Memorial Day parade

Monday (5/27)

Grafton has the designation of having the longest ongoing Memorial Day Observance in the United States. A parade and ceremony has been held every year since 1868 with school children carrying flowers to the Grafton National Cemetery.
